Individual Therapy

Whether you believe everything that happens in the world happens for a reason, or whether you believe nothing does, the way to an authentic self and authentic happiness and authentic, healthy relationships is pretty much the same:
  • Find out what you really want.
  • Decide how to get it.
  • Get it.
  • Learn how to maintain it once you have it.
It is not as simple as it sounds, of course.  And, it is certainly not easy. However, these are skills that are learned in individual therapy.

Dealing With Baggage

We all have problems. Problems with intimacy, insecurity, sexuality, family, etc. They are all baggage that gets in the way of healthy relationships. But there are ways of emptying out your baggage in a safe place. We examine it together, and we decide together which approach is best for you. Hypnosis and visualization have proven to be very helpful tools, as have insight oriented therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, relaxation techniques and neural linguistic programming. All have shown to help  anxiety, depression, agoraphobia, smoking cessation, sexual problems, and many other self-destructive patterns we may have. Whatever approaches work best for you are the ones we will use to help you clarify the issues; help you with your decision making and keep you on track to follow through with what you decide.
